Shopping My Green Beauty Stash #5 (April 2018)

Hi Lovelies,

Welcome back! And welcome, if you are new here 💕💕💕

Shopping My Green Beauty Stash

How are all of You? Did You have a good Easter?

Today I want to talk about a few things I am using on the constant basis, and all of the things are coming from my own stash, no less! It isn't necessarily a Favourites post repeat, as not all of the things will be repurchased for various reasons. I will touch on those later in the post, of course.
This post features my absolute favourite skincare line of the moment, although I dread the day I will have to repurchase everything, not going to lie! The products are super duper amazing, but uber pricy, especially for stay-at-home-mommy like moi. Please step forward Bella Aura products! I almost wanted not to like these products as I knew about their price point, but they worked like magic, and thanks to them I have continuous good skin days! I ooghed and aaghed about them in my social media and in this review post, so I am not going to repeat myself all over again here (you know I am into super long posts when it comes to my reviews), but let me tell you a couple of things about Bella Aura - my sensitive skin found home! If it suited to uber-sensitive-and-dermatitis-prone skin me, it will probably work wonders on you too. As always, I recommend getting samples first, aka their sampler kit, and for a good reason - I found when I was trying to go on with my usual skincare routine and only incorporate one or two Bella Aura things at a time, that's when I found out the products don't necessarily work their best, and they might not mesh well with your exciting products, but used solely on their own they are magic. I was sporting rare outburst of dermatitis on my face just before receiving these products, so I was thinking "oh, great, it will take me more than a week to heal the skin before I could try these products" but on a whim I decided to try them beforehand, and am so glad I did - they healed my dermatitis in just a matter of a couple of days, even they are not meant for that. I continued to use exclusively Bella Aura for six weeks, as I always do before posting my review on the products, and that's when my heart was jumping for joy every day - I had continuous good skin days and almost forgot I had any dermatitis problems. Then curiosity got better of me and I went on to use other products that were patiently waiting for my attention, and guess what? The redness and patchiness came back. Needless to say I ran back to Bella Aura and I want nothing else for the time being. Part of me thinks I've found the ONE and I need to stick to it like glue (any sane sensitive skin person would say that) but another part of me wants to go on trying new green beauty products - I guess that's the blogger in me? We will see how that pans out? Have you tried Bella Aura and what are your thoughts on it?

Next product in this line up is Acure Smooth & Manageable Shampoo. I really wanted to love this, and was hoping it would be a cheaper alternative to my beloved (but pricy) Rahua Voluminous Shampoo (review). It has a cult following in the green beauty community, so naturally I wanted to get my paws on it. Long story short, it didn't work out for me - although it gave me good hair days (think bouncy locks) but it didn't last for more than 1-2 days, and it gave me dandruff. The latter is not a shortfall of the product, 99% of the shampoos give me that - my scalp is that sensitive. I am a lucky gal, I know! The shampoo was finished off by my family and they asked for more. "Amazing" and "I wouldn't know it's natural" was their verdict, meaning it performs just like a regular shampoo. So I guess it is a repurchase. Luckily Love Lula carries a few variations of Acure Organics shampoos, so I might try a different one from the brand to see if it works for me.

Next is Grapefruit Hair Remedy by Alchemy Oils - I got this travel size on a whim last month. I am one of the minority who does not like conditioners (they either weigh my hair down or do absolutely nothing) so hair oils is where it is at for me. I really like this! I have used it as a pre-shampoo treatment mostly, and it is amazing for that. When I use coconut oil, I find it really hard to wash off, but none of it with this oil. It moisturises and nourishes the scalp, but it is not greasy whatsoever. I also use it to smooth my flyaways, it works great this way too. Just remember to use very little of it if using this way.

And last but not least is Ultra Light Organic Moisturiser with SPF 30 by Kimberly Sayer - I really love this in a way that it does not break me out and it does not give me any white cast either. That's a first for me. Admittedly, this is not aimed at my skin type, but I chose this over the one for dry skin for two reasons. First, you get double the amount of product for the same price, and secondly, this one comes in sanitary pump, versus the jar where I would have to scoop the product with the hands. Why there are such a differences for the same product aimed at different skin types, I don't know. I feel there shouldn't be, but at the same time I am not the one who has any say in it. This is my third jar of it, and the only reason I haven't reviewed it separately yet is that I haven't been in the sun & heat for long enough to test it's SPF properties. It's just the last two summers have been brutal here in Ireland (read = cold and rainy) and I haven't been away for the sun holidays in ages. It works great as a city SPF product though. I don't know if this is The One when it comes to sunscreens, or I will end up having a "sunscreen wardrobe" like some of my green beauty blogger friends? They say they like having lots of different sunblock products for different reasons, but truth to be told I would love to find one and only that would work their magic on all levels. I have my eyes firmly on Madara Plant Stem Cell Age Protecting Sunscreen SPF30  - although it is more expensive, they promise not only protect the skin with SPF30, but also shield the skin from environmental pollution and regenerate the skin, as well as enhance the microbiome of the skin - anything that promises to take care of my skin's microbiome gets my attention instantly! I ran an EWG report on it and it came back at 4. Not bad at all, and as I expected, the fragrance mentioned in the INCI list amped up the toxicity score tremendously - one of the flaws of EWG is that it does not differentiate the fragrance from natural essential oils (which I assume is the case with Madara here) and toxic "fragrance" that is a blanket name for up to 200 toxic chemicals in the conventional product - and we all know there's a world of difference in between the two! Let me know if you want me to show you how to build your own product report in EWG, even if it is not listed there? Would be happy to help. The next product on my radar is Alteya Certified Organic Rose Otto Face Suncreen SPF25 - the whole line is calling my name so hard! Can you hear it? No? Just me?
Kidding aside, please let me know what's your favourite natural & preferably organic face SPF product? I would love to hear your recommendations!

That's all for today, lovelies. See you here again real soon. Take care and thanks for reading xo

Shopping My Stash #4

Hi Lovelies,

Welcome! And if you are new here, welcome 💕💕💕

Shopping My Green Beauty Stash #4

How are you all doing? I hope all is well? It sort of is in my house, although the recent reports of 35 people dying from the Aussie flu in Ireland so far scare the sh*t out of me. 15 of them are children, and my heart bleeds at the thought of this!
Although my heart goes out to the families of those affected, I know you are all here to see what I am using, so let's dive into it, shall we? Sorry to start this post on the sad note.

*Please note Blogger & Google are using cookies, and I am obliged to let you know about this.

I have started this series inspired by Sandra by Beauty Balm, she is on the impressive 96th one compared to my 4th. It is proving to be popular with you too, so I think it might touch a chord with you lot, that maybe we should all dig around our stash to see if we have products we forgot we had, or is there something that needs to be used up because it is approaching it's expiration date?
If you want to see what I am using lately, you can find all my Shop My Stash posts to date linked at the end of this post. In this one I reached for a couple of products that were sent to me a few months earlier and I didn't get around to them much because I was using other products at a time. Speaking of using up products, after much of mulling over it, I have decided to skip my November and December Empties posts, because in the December there seemed no good time to fit in Empties posts when all of us were doing all sorts of festive and fun stuff in the run up to Christmas; so talking about my rubbish, seemed well, rubbish! Then the January went by like a blur, and now I find myself with January empties to talk about, and too much of a hassle to catch up on those two missed months. So I have decided to wipe the slate clean and start again with January and leave the last year's rubbish in the last year. I hope you won't mind? It's not that I am obliged to talk of them, it's probably just me putting unnecessary pressure on myself. I am in the habit of putting those kinds of posts out by now, and every time I think of typing 3k+ words for something I'd finished ages ago, seemed like a chore I kept putting off like forever. So let's make a deal, I will put a pictures at the end of my January Empties post, and if there will be a product you will want my feedback on, you will ask about it ok? I always answer questions about products on my social media anyways. And I have decided to stop talking about samples, especially sachet samples - it is too much of typing for uncertain reasons. I wouldn't mind if I had extra time on my hands, but I don't, so something has to give. I am very glad my blog keeps growing and growing at a steady pace (steady, because I don't buy followers and never will) but it also means it is becoming more like a full time job without the pay. I am most likely to be checking emails at 7am and answering people's requests for recommending products via DMs at 11pm. I think I need to manage my time better.

Ok, U-turn Renata, getting back to the stuff I use now. In no particular order here's what I am using right now:

Honua Skincare Hawaiian Beauty Water and Aloha Beauty Serum

This was an unexpected win via Instagram, where two people were supposed to win their Beauty Water, so I tagged my Instagram buddy 1988Bori, and I was so surprised to find out we've won! When I received the package, I was floored and delighted to see they have included the Aloha beauty serum as well. Big thank You Honua Skincare! Havaiian Beauty Water is a liquid exfoliant with amazing ingredients, like hibiscus, coconut water, papaya enzymes and more. I use it once or twice a week, and I can really see the difference after I use it. Highly recommend it and I know I will be back. Aloha is a beautiful water and aloe based serum packed with beautiful hydrosols, super oils, vitamin C coming from noni, and more. The ingredients of everything in the line seem very clean and I am keen to try more, starting from the cleansing cream called Pa'akai.

ULIV Golden Chai Facial Souffle

This is also an amazing natural product, targeted for dermatitis and eczema prone skin, and let me tell you, the ingredients are amazing! Packed full of healing oils, butters and king of spices turmeric, which we all know is a fantastic antiinflammatory agent with more than 10k of scientific studies backing up the claims. I don't reach for this as my daily moisturiser, as it takes ages to sink in, and blocked my pores somewhat when I used it twice daily in the past, probably due to the mango butter in it, but let me stress that was a long time ago, and it was since reformulated. I am on my second jar of it, and I reach for it every time my skin is red and blotchy and it helps with inflammation so much. Well worth the price point in my mind, as I have tried many products targeting dermatitis, and some of them just don't work, while some others burned my skin! This is amazing, caused me no hassle, only the benefits. Sadly it came straight from US and I don't know any EU stockists for it. If you do, please do us all a favor and shout about it!

Dafna's Personal Skincare Active Mist

A gift from Dafna herself, along with her Nutrition face cream for the night, which I really appreciated! The mist is gorgeous and it is going really fast, as I got into the habit of misting my face throughout the day. Again, the brand with really clean ingredients, you can understand everything when reading through the ingredient list. It's a Spanish brand, so therefore widely available in Europe, and for those of you my green beauty lovers outside EU, you can get it from Love Lula.

Studio78Paris We Evade 03 Rose Sand Bronzer

I surprised myself reaching for this more and more lately - see, like most of us I associate bronzer with summer and tanned skin, and I never reached for them in winters, when I am at my all time palest. I wasn't even a bronzer girl until I hit mid 30s. I know many of you will gasp reading this, but I had no interest in bronzers whatsoever for the longest time, but I am warming up to them (pun intended). This is the most gorgeous bronzer on earth, and the fact that it is not orangy makes it worth every penny in my opinion. I have no desire to look for more bronzers, as I have all that I need in this product. As you can see, it has a few colours swirled into it, as well as some gorgeous shimmer that does not translates into glitter when on the face. Pigmented, so I need to have a light hand with this. This is French brand that I would be keen to explore more, but for the last few years I am witnessing it disappearing from more and more online places I've seen carrying it before. I am not sure what's up with it, at first I was worried the brand is going out of business, but they are active on Instagram, which makes me feel better. I have this nagging thought in my head that I need to get a back up of it, even though I realize it makes no logical sense. This is not the only bronzer I have, but this is the only one I use. I might sell the other one I have and get rid of samples, as my search for the perfect bronzer is well and truly over.

Hynt Beauty Satin Nude lip gloss

Aren't your newest thing always your favourite things? It certainly is the case with me! This gorgeous lip gloss came from Eminessences, and I also purchased my beloved Hynt Beauty Duet Perfecting Concealer (review here and here) this time in Medium, which is ever so slightly too dark for me at the moment. I was out of this concealer for a year or so, and although I am happy to have it back in my life, I noticed a texture change, and maybe slightly less coverage than it had before? It underwent a packaging change twice if not three times, and I am not sure if the formulation changed with it or not, but now it is almost solid waxy consistency, that you have to swirl your finger in to get the product out, while before it was liquid, and more pigmented too, imo. I don't know, I still need to play with it more to form my final opinion on it. Still a good product, but I miss the old formula back from the day when it used to be Christopher Drummond in a pump bottle, seen in my second review. Hynt Beauty, if you are reading this, I love you, but please, bring the old formula back?

Inika Long Lash Mascara

My favourite for the last 6 months or so. Nearly as good as my previously loved 100% Pure Maracuja one (I've been ignoring them since they decided to raise the shipping price to 25€, but then I learned that the new price already includes all the custom fees you might get, so I am thawing and starting to watch their deals like a hawk again). Anyways, back to the Inika - while I was out of 100%Pure mascara, I needed a good alternative, so I tried Inika Long Lash Mascara, and I knew I was in love with it after a couple of days. It performs like a conventional mascara would, gives good length, not as much volume as I'd like to (it is lengthening, not a volumising mascara) but what I like the most about it, it does not smudge or flake on me! Big pet peeves of mine, and sooo many of clean beauty mascaras fail on this front, so I am so happy to have found my new favourite. Already have a back up.

So, that's all for this post I am using right now, but that's not all of the products in my current rotation if you know what I mean - some products like DrHauschka Rose Day Cream (review) and Hurraw Moon Balm are such a firm All-The-Time favourites, that I am even forgetting to mention them. They are part of the furniture, and these Shop My Stash posts highlight what I am using in the moment.

What are you using at the moment? Do you shop your stash too and possibly do Project Pan type of thing? Please let me know in the comments!

Shopping My Stash #3 (November 2017)

Hi Lovelies,

Welcome back! And welcome if you are new here 💕💕💕

green life in dublin
Shopping my green beauty stash #3

So, these series of posts where I tend to use what I have versus shopping for new products, aka shop my own stash, has proven to be one of the most viewed posts, so I think it struck a chord with you too. The idea is simple, pick products from your own stash and try to use as much as you can during the month, with a goal to finish some of them off. This is not necessarily a repeat of favourites posts, as some items are used to be used and won't be repurchased. I am always clear about that and the reasons why, and I hope you appreciate that.

Green Life In Dublin
Green Beauty Samples

Samples

I posted this post on my IG a little while ago in a bid to publicly shame myself into using them up or doing something about them! This photo you see right here is about 1/10th of the samples I have to go through, and it is proving to be difficult to use them up - in our busy day to day life I tend to grab trusty favourites versus wanting to try anything new, and I find myself not wearing make up most of the time. I need to try harder. But these sneaky thingies are making babies when I am not looking, I swear!

Green Life In Dublin
Amazing green beauty balms

Mahalo Balms

I was a lucky duck to win one of those rare Mahalo giveaways a year ago, and I had the pleasure to use three products from the range. While two of them are long gone (and in my "to repurchase" list in my head) I still have the original Mahalo Balm which is nearing a year and technically past the use-by date (don't try this at home, kids!), so I am very aware it might spoil very soon. So I need to go through this pretty soon. I also acquired a full size of Rare Indigo balm that was half full via green beauty swap with Italian blogger, and I only have about half a teaspoon left. I treat it like it is made of gold or something, it is so so precious to me, as it is amazing for my dermatitis prone skin! I will cry tears of a crocodile when it is gone, when both of them will be gone I should say. Between the two of them I will only repurchase one, and even that at a stretch - they are wildly out of my price range. All Mahalo range will be a permanent fixture in my stash once I will come into money. That is one brand worth splashing out for.

Green Life In Dublin
Pacifica Dreamlit brightener and Transdecent concealer

Pacifica Under Eye Brightener in Dreamlit and Concealer in Light

These I got via LLABP as I was so curious to try them for the longest time ever. I hit major pan or Ere Perez concealer I loved many months previously, and I fancied a change. Yes, I read countless reviews on these Pacifica products and knew these are probably not the fullest coverage and that they crease. And guess what? They are light coverage and they do crease. Now it is your moment to say "I told you so!" I guess I should have paid the attention to the reviews and just re-order the trusty fave. But all is not lost, the concealer went to my daughter who doesn't have as much of under eye darkness as I do, so she will probably use it up. And I will keep the Dreamlit as the colour match is actually pretty good for me - it is a bit more salmon-y in colour and that works well for canceling the blue. One swipe does not cover all I want to cover, and two layers tend to crease pretty quickly, so what I started doing with this, I put one layer or Dreamlit on and then I put  Alima Pure powdered concealer on top, which didn't impress me either, but as a combo, this seems to be working well. The powder concealer sets the liquidy Dreamlit as well as giving some extra coverage I need. If you don't have bad undereye darkness like I do, please be my guest, these might be your best products? Link here.

Lotus Wei Infinite Love

This too I treated like a liquid gold - it smells amazing and for me, this flower remedy works like magic - I really feel the difference when I use Lotus Wei products versus when I don't. And they somewhat helped me heal my emotional traumas I endured this year. I have a full review on these wonderful flower remedies on my blog, but as it is an old post, hit the search box for it. I am very sad to say I will no longer buy these - I can't afford to. We are one income family, so my play budget in next to non existent, so to splash out of flower remedies is an ultimate extravagance that only few people get. Lotus Wei products prices went up twice since my review came out, and now they are definitely out of my reach. I can only afford a couple of luxury products per year, and obviously I will choose Mahalo Rare Indigo versus this. I am very sad to let Lotus Wei go, and I will definitely resume them once I will come into money.

Nyr Hand Cream

This is the hand cream I am using exclusively for the last two years. Wonderful company, the cream works great, but at the same time I am after something new. Besides I started using excess of facial oils on my hands, so after finishing it up, I will put this particular hand cream on hold for a little while, but I can say I recommend it if you are looking for good hand cream, you can get it from my NYR page.

Balm Balm Frankincense Hydrosol & Lip Balm

Both of these came via Love Lula beauty boxes, and despite the stinky smell of Frankincense hydrosol, I loved it enough to get the second bottle of it. I find it amazing for my dermatitis prone skin & calming inflammation. The first time I got it, I mixed it with the remains of Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator I had at a time, I found it too sweet on it's own, so they balanced each other perfectly, this time around I am embracing it on it's own. (link to buy it here) The lip balm is 100% organic, which I always appreciate. I didn't find it amazing as a lip balm, as it does not stay on as long as I would like it to, but I really liked it as a lip mask, you know, piling it on and letting it stay on for an hour or so. Get it here.

green life in dublin
Natural and nourishing lip balms that stay on the lips - Flying Wild, Hurraw, Fruu

Nourishing Lips Balms That Stay On The Lips, aka my Current Holy Grail Lip Balms

That would be three of them - Rosemary and Honey one by Bees Flying Wild, Moon Balm by Hurraw (get it in Love Lula) - those two are tried and trusty favourites, used for years and repurchased over and over. Newer addition is Fruu, but it seems to be holding up very well too, and I am excited for this. My lips really suffer in harsh conditions, and I need something that stays on for hours. All of them are budget options, which makes me happy. What are your favourite lip balms for winter? Please share them below or join the discussion on my IG page here

So that is it for today. Don't forget to enter mine and Bloom Ocean giveaway, you still have three days to go. My followers also can enjoy discount with them with a code "greenlife" valid until the end of the year! And if you want to, you can also shop at Love Lula and get 15% off until 2nd December. I am about to make second order later today. I decided I need to get cordyceps supplement to boost my immune system.

What are you using these days? And what did you guys get during Black Friday madness? I shopped small (and local where possible) and I am currently deciding on whether to make a blog post out of it or not - the thing is, I stocked up only on the things needed, so it would make a rather boring blog post compared to some of others. I think. We shall see.

Shopping My Green Beauty Stash #2 October 2017

Hi Lovelies,

Welcome back! And if you are new here, welcome💕💕💕

Green Life In Dublin
Shopping My Green Beauty Stash #2

I started this Shop My Stash series last month where I show what products I am reaching for the most at any given month specifically from my stash. This isn't necessarily a repeat of Favourites posts, which I do quarterly - some products do not always translate into faves, even if my initial first impressions are good, you know what I mean? And some products are being used to use it up and never to be repurchased - and as always I will be clear why. Did anyone notice I never followed up my Project Pan post? I guess I was overwhelmed with the amount of products I had to go through and trailed off.. This shopping my stash is also like Project Pan in a way, and I like it this way way better, as I pick around five or seven items each month, rather the whole tray of products to finish, so it seems easy and do-able! So let's see?

DrAlkaitis Organic Healing Gel

I bought this in the summer and I think I failed to mention it anywhere - big whoops! Great for my dermatitis prone skin, as it quickly takes care of flare ups if I am unlucky enough to get them. Pricy, but I already know I will repurchase it once I run out. I will review it sometime in the future too. This has a lot of essential oils in it, and somehow my skin manages to tolerate them very well - must be the formulation!

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator

Now that the temperatures are dropping, I am upping my misting game! Am I the only one with the heating on btw? Never mind. I bought this from Amazon as I wanted to see what the green beauty world is buzzing about - seriously, I am to come across a bad review of it! I might be going against the grain here, but I find the scent too sweet, so I am not sure if I will get it again - there are too many toners and mists on my wishlist. After being like 2000 years late to the toning game, now I want them all! See my toners and mists post here - and the list keeps growing! Tell me your favourites so I could check them out too.

Isun Skincare Sapphire & Wabi-Sabi Botanicals Akaliko Facial Oils

Despite loving the hell out of DrHauschka Rose Day Cream (review here), which I mentioned in my Shopping My Stash #1 post, facial oils are re-entering my life in a form of ISUN Skincare Sapphire and Wabi-Sabi Botanicals oils - and I do enjoy both of them immensely! Both amazing, with different ingredients. At the moment I am using either one of them, although I should pick one and leave the other for another month or six weeks. That is how I test products for my reviews, and I am due reviews for both of them eventually. I probably forgot to mention that I dropped facial oils out of my routine last spring - despite loving and using only oils as a face moisturisers for many years, I did some digging and found that dermatitis hates oils and the skin needs moisturisers instead - I guess i knew this deep down, but didn't want to admit it to myself - I was too attached to them. Let's see how it pans out this time round.

Barefoot SOS Face & Body Rescue Cream For Face and Body

A very recent discovery and it came just in time, as I managed to gluten myself recently and am sporting a breakout on my face. I knew I shouldn't eat out, sigh. So I applied this on my face immediately upon getting it, and the first impressions are good! The insane itching is diminished somewhat, and I think the redness is too. I obviously need a bit more time to fully form my opinion on it. I think I will touch on it when I will write a post on products good for dermatitis, when I will get round it it, that is.

Mahalo Balm

I have won this and a couple of more Mahalo products around the same time last year, and as they are so pricy, I treated them like they are made of gold, and used them as little as possible. Wrong way to go on about it! Now I am using to use them up - I also have a little bit of the Rare Indigo balm left too. They are both amazing, and as I know I won't be able to afford both (oh man, how I wish I had unlimited play money - their Vitality Elixir Serum is amazing and I wish I had that right now!), I think I will choose to get Mahalo Rare Indigo, as it does more to my dermatitis prone skin. Mahalo balm is also amazing, and if you have normal, non reactive skin, you might want to look into it. At the moment I am using it as a hand balm every night, as my Madara balm didn't cut it out of the sudden - I enjoyed it in the summer, but now it's colder, it tends not to do much - five minutes after applying my hands are crying for more product and are dry again. Never the case with Mahalo balm. If you are interested in my two cents aka the review of products, see it here.

Green Life In Dublin
Shopping my stash - natural dental care products

Earthpaste toothpaste

As I wrote in my my dental care post here, I am after a glycerine free carageenan free toothpaste, and this is both of those things free, so when one of the health shops I frequent started carrying it, I bought it straight away. Verdict? Not repurchasing sadly - this doesn't clean well on its own, and I need additional products in a form of dental powders and Living Libation products to do a job well done.

Living Libations tooth drops & Living Libations ozonated tooth gel

I talk about both of these products in the same dental care post, and despite high price I think these are brilliant products and I want to repurchase both of them, as well as explore the dental line further, as well as all other Living Libations products! They have released some new toothpastes too, so I want want want! /insert greedy eye monster emoji here/

Allafia Strawberry Coconut hair and body wash

This is a repurchase from Amazon again and again - one of the clean and affordable clean lines I come back to over and over again. Sometimes found in TKMaxx too, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled & check my post on what else you can find in TKMaxx when it comes to natural products :)

and now a few products that didn't make it into photo, but I am using them nonetheless:

Ooh oils - sampler pack

These came in Love Lula September Beauty Box - and as the temperatures are cooling, I am digging into them! Rosehip oil is my favourite, so I am starting with that one. You might want to check them out here - they come in cutest mini 5ml bottles and you will definitely get multiple uses out of each one. Thus you will be able to see for yourself which one is for you.

Trilogy wash & face cream

The cleanser is good in a way that it hadn't made me react nor is making my face dry and tight, so I am eyeing this for full size purchase. The cream is good too, but I will be purchasing it for my daughter rather than for myself - in a pinch I can use it too, but it seems to be not enough of a moisture now, in October, plus it makes my skin itch somewhat, a sure sign my skin doesn't react well to one of the ingredients.

What are you guys reaching for these days? Please share, I want to know!

Please subscribe and share any of my posts on social media, it really helps to get the green beauty word out - and you will forever have my gratitude!

Shopping My Stash #1

Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back! And if you are new here, welcome 💕💕💕

Green beauty things I am loving Fall/Autumn 2017

With your permission I will start a new monthly segment in my blog called “Shopping My Stash” where I will list five to seven natural beauty products I am reaching for everyday. This isn't just another version of Favourites post, as the items won't necessarily be faves, some of them I will be using to use it up, and I will always be clear about it. So it will be a mixture of new things, trusty faves and things I want to use up for some reason or another. I don't know about you, but new things are always My Favourite Things, especially when it comes to make up or fashion items, and I tend to either wear them to death or fall out of love with them after some time, hence they don't always make it into my Faves, which I post quarterly. No? Just me then 😊

OK, let's start, shall we? Let's see what I'm reaching for in September.

Amazing moisturiser for my uber sensitive and dermatitis prone skin. I’ve resisted for ages but now that I have it, I am so loving it! Review to come soon, and I feel this will be a repurchase for life. Wish it would be slightly cheaper though. It's £30.50 for 30ml in Love Lula, link.
*Update a few weeks later. Review can be found here and I am so impressed with this cream, it was repurchased at least five times in this year alone. And it made into 2017 Best Products, no less!

Ere Perez Arnica Concealer in Light

I have a review on this if you want to see, link here. Stocked in Love Lula, it's £16 for whopping 10gr. I was told this duo is being discontinued and is replaced by single colour pots, but at this moment I can still see it for sale in Love Lula. I love this concealer - sticky, yes, but it gives me much needed full coverage for under eyes, and the darker color in the duo is what I’ve used the most. I hit pan on it about two months ago and am well on the way of finishing it, but one eagle eyed lady informed me that the new single pots contain propylene carbonate, I checked the ingredient on EWG and it rates at 1, but I am yet to research it further and see if I am OK with it or not. My second option is to go back to Hynt Beauty Duo Perfecting Concealer, which is also full coverage concealer I am in love with, but it tends to crease a bit more. I am torn. Help please!

Glossworks Nail and Cuticle Oil

This came in Love Lula August Beauty Box - while everyone else got Glossworks nail polish and 3in1 top coat, they couldn't ship it to me due to health and safety reasons (how frustrating!) so I got this nail and cuticle oil instead. At first I didn't think I'd get much use or pleasure using it, but I find reaching it for it every single evening! Which is surprising to me, because for one, I don't paint my nails on a regular basis, nor I purchase separate product for cuticles - so far I used to use any random oil I happened to have on hand at a time. Now I have a proper product. It's £12 for 9ml in Love Lula.

Rahua Voluminous Shampoo

Post Living Libations True Blue Spirulina shampoo, this I am trying next to see how they will compare and if I will like it as much. I haven't had much look with budget green beauty shampoos, so I am hoping and not so hoping I will like it. Hoping because I want to find great shampoos to recommend you guys, and I am also apprehensive because it is priced at a luxury price point - so it would be an expensive habit to keep up. (It's £28 for 275ml link here) At the moment I am hiding it from my family - way to go mama! What? I give them everything, can I just keep one thing for myself? 😁
*Update a few weeks later. I have reviewed this shampoo in detail since, and you can find it here. I have tried a couple of other natural shampoos since, but this remains a firm favourite that also made it into my 2017 Best Products post.

Madara Daily Defence Ultra Rich Balm For Skin Protection From Dryness And Extreme Weather Conditions

First of all, can you believe that's the name? Say that three times fast! Joking aside, it is a good balm I can constantly using as a hand cream now I have the heating cranked up. Anyone else with the heating on? I feel Mother Nature is going crazy.. I love this balm, and I bought one more for my mom, and she raves about it too. It's £15 for 60ml, link here. It is Eco Cert certified, good ingredients, and now I want to try more from the brand! Tell me what I should try next?

So that is all for this post, ta ta for now and see you here shortly. New posts every Monday and extra posts every week too!
