Be In Blossom Black Coral Face Tuning Serum For Men

How are all of you? I hope you are all well and settling into fall (or should I say autumn?) routine well? Today I wanted to bring one product to your attention - step forward Be In Blossom Black Coral Face Tuning Serum For Men.

(And psst, I will let you in one little secret - you can totally steal it too!)

A new formula for perfection: A 100% high-tech product = A 100% organic product.
This perfect synergy between high-tech and organic provides exclusive beauty care with an intensive effect against skin damage and the effects of time, so that your skin returns to its origin and regains its youthfulness. BE IN BLOSSOM has realised unique formulas for you with effective substances, the rarest ingredients, and precious essences from around the world, to give to give you something special, true luxury – beauty and time! A new era of beauty products. A new spirit of the times.

Let's look closer into the product and it's ingredients, shall we?

BLACK CORAL - the official blurb:

The ocean, that mysterious world, is at the centre of the BLACK CORAL product. Certain seaweeds exhibit outstanding hardiness. They can survive and propagate despite extreme living conditions and the strongest sunlight. They owe this ability to their protective matrix – a powerful antioxidant system. These unusual molecules are now available as organic high-tech care.

BLACK CORAL controls the time code of your skin.

The highly effective carotenoid extract from microalgae haematococcus pluvialis exhibits a very intense effect and a global anti-ageing effect.*

Its antioxidant action is:
The high performance, multi-complex skincare product has several effects when applied, these are:

  • The carotenoid-extract from micro alga shows an intensive anti-ageing effect. Tests In Vivo /Vitro show that is is 6000 times higher than vitamin C, 800 times higher than CoQ10 enzyme, 560 times higher than green green tea extract, and 75 times higher than alpha lipoic acid.
  • The maritime Phyto stem cells protect and support the skins own stem cells.
  • The extract from sea oak regulates the cellular skin respiration and improves cell-energy.
  • Anti-oxidatively working exotic oils and elixirs protect the skin against damage through free radicals.
  • Maritime extracts and precious plant essences bring a sensual aromatherapy effect and a toning, cell-renewing effect to this serum product.
  • Delivers a comforting feeling each time its applied and does not clog pores.
  • Perfume - bitter-woody and with a smokey touch of French Algae.

This intensive Face-Tuning care product, as light and deeply effective as a serum, as nourishing and protective as a cream, is a true all-round talent.
The powerful combination of active ingredients based on maritime technology acts on several levels simultaneously. While highly effective microalgae extract from h. pluvialis produces a global anti-ageing effect, and the algae extract from fucus vesiculosus calms stressed skin areas, the active phyto stem cells from sea holly stimulate the energy production of skin cells and repair skin damage.

For a vital and youthful appearance. The masculine scent of a fresh sea essence made of pure plant extracts pampers the skin and the senses with its aromatic and soothing properties. The extra light texture absorbs immediately, providing a pleasant feeling of comfort. It is ideal in everyday life, after shaving, and for all sports activities.

Suitable for all skin types. (if you can tolerate scent, I might add)

My two cents on it - well, pass the drum roll please, it got Mr. Green Life In Dublin's seal of approval! It comes from a man who never likes any products, so let that fact speak volumes for itself. I have to say I have to agree with the official claims, the texture is light and it absorbs immediately. Thus it can be used at any time of the day, morning and night. I made Mr Green Life Unwilling Human Test Bunny Dublin use this product for weeks before coming out with this review, so I could provide you will a well rounded review for you guys. Let me backtrack a little bit to tell the full story. When I work on the review I always make sure to take my time in testing the product - usually around six weeks. Why that much you ask? Well, our skin regenerates at around 28 days (more if you are ahem, older), so I need to make sure if the product does actually work and makes any visible changes in the skin. So I applied the same ethics to testing this serum for men. Well, I have to confess that Mr. Green Life In Dublin uses virtually no products, not even a moisturiser, and all the products I buy for him sit on the bathroom shelves unloved and untouched for months, until two things happen - I either start using them myself or look for someone to take it off my hands before it expires. When I transitioned to the "green side" many years ago, I was met with a strong resistance for many years. After a few (or a lot of) disagreements we resorted to having "his" (conventional) and "hers" (green and clean) products of every kind, but now I am doing happy dance, because I see that vast majority of the toxic products have vanished from the house.  I gave up arguing and trying to prove my point years ago and just let him to come to his own conclusions. The trick worked like magic - he finally saw that "my" natural products work just as good as their toxic counterparts, and in many cases even better! In the last two or three years he even started showing interest into natural skincare products, much to my surprise, because up until that point all he used was soap, shampoo and a toothpaste. Yes, not even a moisturiser or shaving cream, nuffing! Even to this day he still does not have the two, and if I want to employ him as a (very unwilling) human test bunny, I have to chase him and wrestle him down to the ground and slap a cream or any other product on his face. "Here, it is good for you!". When I ask for the feedback, I usually get "Fine". If some product gets "Fice", that means I can safely get a product five stars out of five! This product definitely gets five stars out of five - a miracle happened on the testing day three - Mr Test Bunny asked where his product was! And made sure to use it ever since then, asking for a facial massage here and there. Definitely a victory on my part and a cause for a happy dance!
So if you have a man who is just like mine, who uses virtually no products whatsoever, and you want to get him something that is ONE PRODUCT that would do it all, this is the product for you! I was really impressed on how quickly this product sinks into the skin leaving skin supple, hydrated and protected, without leaving the complexion feeling oily and looking super shiny. Light enough to be used in hot weather season (hello, heatwave!), it also works now, when we are in the colder season, being able to boost hydration, this serum continues to protect and improve the skin - and I am hoping it will work in winter too, when the temperatures will really drop. Really impressive all rounder, and my husband agreed. He told me to "tell the readers the product is really nice", which translates to top marks!
If your man is way more advanced in this department, this product slots in after water serums but before the moisturiser. Let's look in the ingredients, shall we?

Each BE IN BLOSSOM product consists of several high-quality active ingredients – a fusion for optimum efficiency that triggers the multilevel effect.

CupuaΓ§u butter has an extremely high water absorption capacity, which is about 120% higher than lanolin, thus supporting restoration of the skin‘s natural moisture. Like beta-sitosterol, the phytosterols it contains act at the cellular level and regulate lipid activity at the skin‘s uppermost layers.

KaritΓ© butter restores natural oils, with a soothing and smoothing effect.

Aloe Vera is an anti-inflammatory, moisturising the skin, with a healing and cell-stimulating effect. There are more than 200 active ingredients in aloe vera gel determining these properties.

Moringa oil, which was called baq in ancient Egypt, is the mythical oil of the moringa tree, which was reported 5000 years ago in the ancient Vedas. Moringa oil has 46 different antioxidants and has skin-rejuvenating and skin-renewing properties.

Babassu oil is excellent for supporting natural elasticity, to keep your skin soft and supple.

(now, tell me if that doesn't sound amazing?)

A precious fragrant essence of pure plant extracts not only adds a sensual aromatherapy effect, but also introduces an effect into the product A rare fragrance extract from the algae fucus vesiculosus characterises the perfume, which lends the product a particularly authentic maritime touch, and an invigorating, toning effect. Precious natural essences like jasmine grandiflorum and ylang-ylang also underscore the fragrance, adding their cell renewing, tissue-strengthening, and circulation-promoting effect.

Be In Blossom Black Coral Face Tuning Serum For Men

My final thoughts about this product - I am really happy to find a perfect product for my man, and I hope you will be happy with it too! Makes a perfect present if you want that "one" product that covers all the bases - and it is totally ok for you to borrow it too! I personally couldn't handle the fragrance of it, as it is kind of strong, but then again not everyone else has this uber sensitive skin like I do, so be my guest! Be In Blossom have also a Ocean Flower Multi-Complex Serum + Crème for Women Black Coral Face-Tuning Lotion for Men.
--> Let me just clarify that the product did not bring any issues I usually experience, like skin going red and irritated, no burning or itchy skin, it worked fine, it's just a fragrance I found a bit too strong for my liking. If you are sensitive skin gal like me, try to obtain a sample and patch test it before using it at full speed. Everybody else, be my guest! We have to understand that we are all different and that's ok.
Get it from Love Lula, one of my favourite online shops! What is the situation in your house? Do your husbands / boyfriends like using natural products? And if you a man reading this, how natural are you with your routine? Please share with me, I would love to know.

Ps. I have this old blog post on the (few) products Mr Green Life In Dublin uses on a daily/weekly basis, you can check it out here. Now that I though of it, I can tell the products changed over the time, and I can tell you he uses Balm Balm Beauty Balm to soothe skin post shaving, and Kiss My Face hand cream to soothe his hands - he works a physical job, and it takes it's toll on his hands. This cream soothes the skin better than anything he has used before - and I have to agree, see this post here, where I also list it as one of my favourite products too! He is also using Dudu Osun black African soap (review) or  Castilian Soap Company liquid castile soap that came in the latest Love Lula Beauty Box for washing; as well as stealing my Tabitha James Kraan Golden Citrus Shampoo - not happy about it, but can't complain too much, at least he is using natural product after all! Although, I have to say when I will repurchase my beloved Rahua shampoo (review) I am definitely hiding it from him! What? That's parenting and wife-ing thing done right as far as I am concerned :)

DIY Make Up Cleaner Spray

Hello Lovelies,

Welcome back! And if you are new here, welcome πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Today I have a super simply DIY for you - a brushes cleansing spray for those in-between-washes days! Really really easy too - anyone who knows me knows I am all about simple DIYs, with ingredients you already own in your home what could be easier? Just two ingredients (three if you count the spray bottle) - all you need is rose water and tea tree oil! I love Alteya Organics one as it is really pure, and you can tell the difference just by smelling it. If you are on a tight budget, I got you too - just go to your local Asian shop and get food grade rosewater - that will cost you just a bit over two euro, and that's exactly what I used for so many years. If you don't want to or can't use rosewater, you can use any other floral water (try this Alteya Organics Chamomile water perhaps?) that is suitable for your skin. Or distilled water. Plain tap water is not suitable because it will go bad in a few days.
How to do it? Well, it is pretty self explanatory, but if you want me to be specific, here's how - fill 200ml bottle with rose water, add 10-20 drops of tea tree (also known as melaleuca) oil and voila, you are done! Tea tree oil is an antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral and many other good things that I won't go into details of, but in this instance it makes it perfect for a purpose of cleaning and disinfecting your make up brushes in between proper washes. I use this spray after every use and clean the brush on the paper towel, and properly wash all the brushes every week. After getting dermatitis (on my face, no less!) I am anal about not getting any bacteria on my brushes or make up for that matter. Why risk infections, right?

One word of caution before you start, please do a patch test to make sure you are not allergic to the tea tree oil, and obviously do not use it if you are indeed allergic! If you find the smell too offensive for your sensitive nose, reduce the quantity to 5 drops. I does smell rather strong. Or add lemon or orange essential oils to it, also the same quantity.
Remember to shake this very very well before each use - oils and water will separate.

P.s. this doubles up as a refreshing room spray and a deodorant in a pinch (I know I used rose water all over in a sweltering heat in Greece in summer many  moons ago and found myself not needing a deodorant). This would not work for everyday life though. Just wanted to throw the thought out there to make your products work overtime for you :)
And there you have it, your own DIY make up rush cleanser spray! It only costs a few bucks to make and it works great. Now you can ditch those shop bought sprays and save yourself so much money! And spend it where it matters more, for example to buy more make up. Or skincare. Or a scarf. You get the idea :)
