Pure Anada products
*UPDATE - THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. WINNER REVEALED ON IG AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA. STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPCOMING GIVEAWAYS! BECAUSE #ILOVEMYFOLLOWERS!

Hmm, I don't even know where to begin? I am bursting at the seams to let you know Pure Anada and I are partnering for a giveaway! Isn't it great when a brand you love and use for two years plus comes to you and offers amazing giveaway to your readers? I am certainly excited, and I hope you are too! Make sure to enter it, you will get a chance to win everything you see here in the photo above, eight items in total, a value of well over 100€! It will be run on Instagram, and I will have the rules at the end of this post. If you want to, you can scroll down to the very end of it to enter, but I suggest you hang out for a bit for a review. I think most of you know that their foundation trumped the likes like Alima Pure in my Yearly Favourites for two years straight (seriously, just check those posts) so needless to say I have a lot of love for this brand, and I will keep coming back till the dawn of time. I am sure you all would love the brand too, all the products are so pigmented, you only need a tiny bit. I can see them lasting for years!

Let's see my two cents on products I have had a chance to try to date?

I am not sure how this Canadian brand came onto my radar, but I am so glad I placed that first order two years ago! Pure Anada have the actual store, but since it is in Canada and I am in Ireland (small matter of the pond between us, really) the only option I had was to order online, and that's exactly what I did. They have their online store called Pure Boutique and they also sell via etsy,  I used both of them, and I had a couple of products sent to me - they didn't ask for the review, it is all my doing.

Pure Anada products are really pure with no fillers, minimal beautiful ingredients, and they do work beautifully, so if you want a nutshell of a review, here it is - I am in love with the products and I will be back. And I need to purchase multiple backups of their mineral foundation as I never want to be without it! They do samples for only about a dollar of nearly all the products, and they are really generous samples, they will give you about two weeks of use I would say? And in that time you will definitely be able to make up your mind if the product is for you or not. My first order was full of samples, and I came back for full sizes for nearly everything, and I think you won't regret it too. They say if you are ordering only samples, you can use the code "samples" to bring your shipping cost to only 2$ - so see if it works for you. It didn't for me, but I am an international customer, plus the shipping is very affordable at round 7€ (that's 10 Canadian dollars for you), so I didn't mind too much.
I am not sure if all of their products are vegan, but they clearly state it in the description if they are. The company also does skincare and body care, as well as nail polish and adorable sets for little princesses.

Mineral foundation

This is what drew me to the brand like a month to the flame, and I knew it was first love on my first application. It is so pigmented, you only need one layer of foundation to get the full coverage!!! No more standing and buffing seven layers of minerals like I used to do with some other brands! I soon noticed that I am smiling in every single test photo and I since dubbed it the Smile Test, and that is how I go on about whether to invest in a full size product or not - I photograph myself trying out new product(s) and if I am smiling in the photo, it is much more likely that I will get the full size of it.
This foundation offers full coverage and it lasts so well during the day that I don't need any touch ups at all, perfect for me, just paint your face on and go on about for the rest of the day! I have full size (and then some) of Atlantic Bisque, which is my winter shade, and Sunkissed Canadian, which is my summer shade, but I am most likely to mix the two together at about 4:1 rate, and that gives me the shade that is right for me for the rest of the time. You won’t find this on their Etsy shop, only their Pure Boutique, but they do offer a full size of 10gr of foundation and 10gr of a refill at only 35 Ca dollars, when the foundation itself retails for 25, so I thought that was awesome deal and the sole reason I ordered via their website versus Etsy shop the second time round. Owning 20 grams of foundation you are pretty much set for life, unless you are like me and simply NEED to get multiple back us for the fear or ever being without it! Suitable for even most sensitive skins (hello, that is meee!) and that can be said for all of their products.Just a little note, their shades run on the darker side, same for liquid ones - I would suggest going one shade lighter than you think you are, or order a bunch of samples, like I did at first.

Ingredients (loose mineral foundation): Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Silica, Boron Nitride, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines Note: Deeper, global foundation shades do not contain Titanium Dioxide.

I have had three shades (samples) of liquid foundation - Sunkissed Canadian, Pacific Tan and Beige in Bantiff (all turned out to be way to dark for me, oh the joys of internet matching yourself). Well, Sunkissed Canadian just about works for me, but only in summer, and even then it is erring on a semi too dark side of things). I found it really moisturizing and it lasted well too, as far as I can remember. Didn't cling to my dry patches nor moved around on my face. It is very easy to blend too, I used brushes, fingers and sponge, and all methods worked equally well. Nice oils in the formula make it moisturizing, and this is exactly what I need. Price is very affordable too, and we love it here in the Green Life In Dublin HQ.  It has coconut oil in it, but it didn't break me out. It is preserved with radish root ferment filtrate, which is nice natural preservative, so no dreaded phenoxyethanol here.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, (Derived from Coconut), Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Virgin Organic Coconut Oil), Ricinus Communis (Castor Seed Oil), Argania Spinosa (Argan Oil), Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn), Cetyl Alcohol, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines, Sorbitol, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate

They also have tinted moisturizer, primers, loose and pressed mineral foundation, cream concealer, finishing powders and correctors when it comes to the complexion products. I have my eyes on corrector(s) and I want to get their concealer to compare it to the one I have at the moment. All for for the sake of blogging of course :) Liquid foundation is on the list too, not for quite right now though as I am trying to keep my stash at the manageable level.

I have a full size of Fresh Mandarin from my order from about 1.5 years ago, and now the Forever Summer one, ge, which I am really happy about! The formula is good, very pigmented too  so you only need a small dab in it, and it lasts all day without a bother. If you can find your shade, I definitely recommend it! It comes in pressed and loose formats, and they are both equally gorgeous. It is just a matter of preference, go for whatever you feel comfortable with. If you a newbie to blushes, or they scare you, please use a very light hand with it, just very light dab. As I already told you, these are crazy pigmented.
Oh, and just one little note, Pure Anada, please please bring back the Mango Ice blush (and Pink Orchard while you are at it) - pretty please please? Both were gorgeous colours, and I am still upset I didn't get the chance to get either. I still have a sample of each from my very first order from two years ago, and I am hanging onto them for dear life, bringing them out for a VERY special occasions. These have been discontinued before I got a chance to purchase them, so I am kind of beating myself up for not discovering the brand earlier.

Pure Anada Eye Shadow Swatches

Again, they have loose and pressed variety, luminous and matte - all gorgeous and pigmented! Nice array of colours, even some fun blues and greens if that's what floats your boat. I went for neutrals, as usual - Toasted Almond and Mirage, and I love both of them! Pure Anada made me a happy girl by sending me Toasted Almond, and that's one of the products will be included in the giveaway!
Ingredients: Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499) Calcium Carbonate, Caprylic Triglyceride *Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba seed oil) Ultramarines (CI 77007), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) * Certified Organic Ingredient

This is nice clean formula everyday mascara. It is great in a way that it is not expensive, it didn't smudge or flake on me at all, and the ingredients are really good, it is naturally gluten free, mercury free and paraben free. Has a curved wand and you can either wear it very natural looking with only one coat, or build it up a few times to get great length. I didn't see much volume with this formula, so here's hoping the brand will come out with one. At the moment there's only one formula mascara in two colour variations, black and brown. The one I had a couple of years ago lasted me about 6 weeks, let's see how it fares for the round two. The liquid liner is nice and pigmented, and you can draw a very precise lines with it, the tip is flexible and not stiff, the way I like it. Wears well throughout the day. I did notice transfer once or twice, but bear in mind my eyes are very hooded, so it is due to that and not a shortfall of the product. I will try to set it with a black shadow and see if it makes a difference and will come back to you on this. Comes in four shades, traditional black and some fun shades including gold.
Ingredients (mascara): Aqua (Water), Oryza Sativa Wax (Rice Bran Wax), Olea Europea fruit oil (Olive Oil), Vegetable Source Cetyl Alcohol (Coconut), Coernica Cerifera (Carnauba Wax), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla Wax), Vegetable Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Acacia Gum, Black Iron oxide (CI 77499),  Aminomethyl Popandiol (Ph Adjuster), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative).
Ingredients (liquid liner)Aqua, Mica (CI77019), Iron Oxide (CI77499), Hydrolized Corn Starch, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate.

Eyebrow Colour

These come in loose powder format, and are seven of them to choose from, plus two pressed eye shadows that could be used as eye brow powder too. I was overjoyed to see ash tones to choose from. You see, I need ashy product for my brows, almost grey, and yet so many of the companies offer warm tones only. I have mine in Cinder, which is medium ash, which works well for me, it is my exact shade match. But due to the sheer pigmentation of it, I have to remember to apply it lightly. I might acquire Flint (light ash) and samples of those pressed eye shadows too. You get 1gr of it, and remembering that you need so little of it, you are set for life! Well, not really, but you get what I mean. Retails for only 8$ Ca, which is about 6.50€ Not bad, huh?

Pure Anada Lip Shine swatch

This product is vegan, and it is lovely apart from one teeny tiny thing, it has mint in it, but that is me just nit picking it, see, I don't like anything minty in my products. Apart from that it is gorgeous product and I really enjoy using it. I got it in the Coral Berry shade, which is nice, and I definitely would recommend it. The mintiness does not last long, so I am able to wear it, whereas when I got Modern Minerals lip gloss I had to wipe it away immediately and give away the gloss soon after. This retails for only 7€ (10$ Ca) so it is nice affordable option.
Ingredients: *Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, *Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, *Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, *Organic Flavor, *Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Essential Oil, Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxide (CI 77491) *Certified Organic

Lip Gloss

I chose it in the Mango Ice, even though it comes in 15 shades. Hard to choose, I know! I feel like a broken record at this point, but I have to let you know it is very pigmented too, not sticky at all and does not leave marks on the cups either. Wears well, and I find it can be worn as a lip stain too, if you will apply a thin layer and pat it into your lips. Get this, Pure Anada sells samples of the glosses too, when so many brands don't, and I like that a lot. I think I already mentioned this, but they do samples of almost all the products. The swatch can be seen at the top of this post, together with the foundation swatches.
Ingredients: made of 100% natural, vegan and mineral ingredients: Butyrospermum Parkii Fruit (Unrefined, Organic, Shea Butter), Ricinus Communis (Organic Castor Seed Oil), Simmondsia Chinensis (Organic, cold pressed, Jojoba Seed Oil), Limnanthes Alba (Organic Meadowfoam Seed Oil), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla Wax), Mica, Iron Oxides, Citrus Tangerina (Organic Tangerine Essential Oil).
May contain the minerals: Titanium Dioxide, and/or Zinc Oxide.

And here is a selfie of me wearing everything! Unedited in any way, because that's not how I roll - filters, photoshop and me don't go hand in hand.
(please excuse the hair, I am testing new shampoo that's not really working for me)

The Pure Boutique

As I already mentioned in the beginning of the post, Pure Anada have a brick and mortar store (sooo on my bucket list) but there's an online store called The Pure Boutique for the rest of us. Not only does it carry their own brand make up and skincare, but they also have some other selected brands like everyone's favourite Orgaid sheet masks, Viva Organics (new to me), Dr.Brite (peroxide free tooth whitening), LaVigne Organic Skincare (I have bought and really recommend their Mayan Magic Balm for all kinds of skin issues, it helped tremendous amount with my dermatitis) and many more, around 30+ brands, and you can get all kinds of gorgeous natural goodies too - from gift sets and Princess gift packs (all natural nail polish, glitter and lip balm) to beeswax wraps for your produce to other home and house products to bio degradable toothbrushes and other dental hygiene products, sun protection, and the list goes on.
(don't forget to check out my trick on how you can make them work extra hard for you in this post, and no, I don't mean wearing the same mask over and over!)

So, what is my verdict?

I have found my holy grail mineral powder foundation and I couldn't be happier about it!!! And I am really happy with all the other products too! I need to purchase multiple back ups of their foundation, as I never want to be without it. I mean their powder foundation is way cheaper than Jane Iredale foundation for example, with much cleaner ingredients, and I think you are getting more grams of product too. I like is foundation better than everybody's favourite Alima Pure too, and this alone should be enough of the statement.  I would suggest you trying them out. I haven't tried much of their skincare - loved the Hydrating Marine Minerals Toner & Tahitian Gardenia Hand & Body Lotion I have had last year, and I am really excited to be trying Garden Neroli & Rose Facial Mist, as well as Smooth Priming Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & Chamomile - the latter I am especially excited about. All of these products are affordable, and don't forget you can order a sample of everything, even the HA serum for only 1 Ca dollar. A reader from US just informed me that samples code worked for her, bringing the shipping down to 2$ for her, so I am assuming all my US readers will be able to enjoy the low cost shipping option too.

    1. Hi Angie! Lol @ the Canadian thing, but I feel you would love their products. Hmm, I was thinking about people who don't have IG when I posted actually. If you want to enter, you might share it on Twitter or Facebook (or wherever else you might choose to) and I will give you 10 entries, how about that? Have a great day xo

  2. I love your description of how you know whether or not to buy a full sized foundation: you smile in photos when you love the product deep down! That's so true and it's a great way to be mindful about what we choose to purchase by only buying things we really, really love. I'm so curious about their foundation!! Especially after your description! Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful giveaway! I realized I have to log onto my desktop to subscribe to your blog because that feature doesn't show up on my phone. I hardly ever use my desktop so
that must be why I'm not already subscribed. I'll do that as soon as my son goes to bed! I'm so sorry it's taken this long for me to realize that! 😘💞💄🙏

    1. It's my fault about not being clear - I should have realized the subscription box isn't visible on phones, and this is what most of us use these days. Thanks for trying though, that is so sweet of you! And yes, get those samples girl :) I was told by one of my US followers the 2$ shipping worked for her, so I assume it will work for you too. And I would love to know your opinion on it xo
